AMRITSAR: A couple of days after allegations came from one Satinder Kaur that her husband Sahib Singh was allegedly beat en up and abducted by BJP workers in the presence of police, the city police have termed the abduction story concocted.
Sahib Singh was instead found living at the residence of hi relative, the commissioner said.

Addressing a press conference, Amritsar police commissioner R.P Mittal said, its women Satinder Kaur had claimed that some men of a political party in the presence of police beat up her husband and abducted him. However, on verification, it has been revealed that Sahib Singh was not abducted, but was living at the residence of his relative.

The police chief added that Sahib Singh was already facing charges in other cases and there was no evidence of him being abducted.
