Having upgraded itself with a posh new arrival terminal a few months back, Rajasansi International Airport has also thrown open a new departure terminal for its customers.
It may be mentioned that the airport, which is seen as having tremendous potential, had been going through a construction –cum- up gradation phase since long.
Recently, a new modern look arrival terminal had been completed. And, adding to the infrastructure, now a new departure terminal is also ready for use.
Giving details, Director of Rajasansi International Airport, Chinson V.S. Panakal, said, “The new departure terminal with all major facilities is all set for use. Now we have a new arrival as well as departure terminal:”
Detailing further, the’ Airport Director said, “The up gradation work of this Airport is going on in full swing. And apart from the terminals, the other major facilities, including aerobridges and visitors area, will also be ready soon.”
It may be mentioned that, still in the expansion phase, Rajasansi International Airport is getting a very good design and now has a very smart outlook.
Now many jobs are almost done and just the finishing and carpeting of the departure terminal is pending, said the Director.
It is pertinent to note that this Airport had always been criticized for improper infra structure despite heavy passenger traffic.
But over the years, the air port, which has been given importance, has seen a major facelift. Apart from a posh new designer building, new terminals will be able to pull more flights to ‘this airport.
