AMRITSAR: The police have booked two persons for allegedly kidnapping and raping a minor girl of Ajnala. The suspects identified as Uday Raj and Karaj Singh are at large.
In her complaint, the girl claimed that she had gone to a village shop near the elementary school when Karaj Singh came there in a car and forcibly pulled her inside the vehicle.
He took the girl to Sukharpreet Palace in Ajnala, where he along with his accomplice Uday Raj allegedly took turns to rape her, she said. “Later they dropped me at Tedhi Kaul village and sped away,” the girl added.
The victim narrated the incident to her family, who got a case registered. Ajnala SHO Naurang Singh said the hunt for the suspects is on. The victim was sent for medical examination and the report was awaited, he added.
